It's amazing how a color can just take over, especially one that hasn't seemed to have been popular for decades. Yes, I am speaking about orange, a.k.a. pumpkin, persimmon, tangerine, coral and every other name they've come up with. It seems to have been creeping its way back into our clothes, home decor and hearts over the last few years and seems to be going full force as I write this post.
Within the last week I've received at least two emails from home furnishings retailers boasting about their fabulous orange additions to their products lines. First up was the
Container Store letting us know that "Orange is What's Hot Now!" and that they have the perfect product to store and show off all your orange items... clear plastic shoe boxes.

orange" into their search bar and find 75 matches. They have it all from storage boxes to aluminum flasks to notebooks and even a LifeHammer.

Room and Board (yup, I'm a fan on
Facebook) that their popular
Boden chair is making it's orange upholstery debut in a polyester/ cotton velvet blend. Love it. Got to say that out of all the colors, the tangerine really holds its own against the ebony-stained base.

Trig file cabinet and
Script desk lamp in orange before the color was discontinued (bad move CB2). I do enjoy the
Mad desk lamp in orange they have brough in though. Just need to get my hands on one of their orange
Swingline business staplers now before they are disco'd.

IKEA's got orange covered as well. Where have you found your favorite orange items?
